Xander Wamelink

Xander is an experienced VAT specialist with a long track record in indirect taxation. For more than twenty years he has helped organisations – from start-ups to established businesses – find their way through practical and sometimes complex VAT questions.

Before joining Port Sight Tax as a partner, Xander worked at Archipel Tax Advice, where he served as Director and Head of VAT. In that role he was responsible for building and running the VAT practice, and developed broad experience with VAT matters involving real estate, international transactions and the interaction with transfer tax.

Xander is known for his no-nonsense and hands-on approach. He supports clients with topics such as VAT recovery, real-estate transactions, cross-border supplies and day-to-day indirect tax compliance. Whether it concerns a concrete VAT issue or a more complex structural question, Xander aims to make things understandable and workable — without unnecessary complications.
