Thomas van Gool

Thomas is a budding tax talent with remarkably sharp analytical skills. He studies Law and Tax Law at Leiden University, where he also participates in the Honours College. A top debater with a penchant for the intersection of law and economics — and for Citroëns from a bygone era (his Visa is legendary). Thomas combines substantive curiosity with a healthy dose of energy and humour.

Thomas has a broad tax interest: from IB structures to international corporate tax, and from box 3 to VAT. What characterizes him is his drive to not only understand rules, but also to understand their functioning and purpose.
